Aloja Starkelsen Organic Brown pea protein is made from dehulled, ground and air classified organic brown peas. Organic brown pea protein is a functional, plant-based, protein concentrate with 55% of protein and has mild, nutty taste. This Organic Brown Pea Protein functionality includes: Egg replacement, Emulsifying, Foaming (volume) and Texturing.

Applications:

  • Improve wheat flour nutritionally and functionally. 
  • Replace animal proteins in wheat based products.
  • Replace wheat flour in gluten-free products. 
  • Improve protein content of a gluten-free blend.
  • Develop a high protein bakery product.
