Blonk teff flakes are made from a blend of brown and white teff grains grown in Spain 100% traceable from farm to table. Like with oat flakes the teff is steamed, rolled and dried on a specially designed line so it has a pleasant nutty and toasted taste and smell. The flakes are, like oats, ideal for vegan or vegetarian foods. It is the perfect ingredient for instant porridge. Because of its high water-absorption both professional – and home cooks have developed recipes replacing traditional breadcrumbs, coatings and batters by teff flakes.
