Blonk coarse teff flakes are made from a blend of brown and white teff grains grown in Spain 100% traceable from farm to table. The teff is steamed, rolled and dried so has a pleasant nutty and toasted taste and smell. The coarse flakes are ideal for vegan or vegetarian foods that undergo hard a working in the process or that are soaked or simmered in de recipe. It is the perfect ingredient for health bars and vegetal burgers but also in porridge cooked traditionally. For meat replacement applications the coarse teff flakes give a mouthfeel surprisingly similar to minced meat.
