Author’s Note
When I joined in quality function in the Flavor and Fragrance industry more than 2 decades back, the main training method employed was on the job learning and by feedback from coworkers. It was not surprising as the industry is in a niche market and the information is not well documented.
Over the years many improvements were introduced like quality management system, ISO 9001 etc . However systematic documentation on the various processes is not available.
This book is an attempt to explain the various methods employed in this industry to standardize quality.
I want to thank all my colleagues in the industry who have helped me in my long career and knowledge gathering to enable me to write this book
I also want to thank my family for supporting me in this endeavour
