Gatanga Tea Industries Ltd is a Kenyan specialty tea manufacturer focusing on premium tea categories such as purple and green teas. We operates with orthodox processing methods, collaborates with technical partners, leverages local tea leaf supply from outgrower farmers, and exports a large share of its production to international markets. Gatanga Tea Industries has been recognized at speciality tea awards, reinforcing credibility and industry leadership in quality tea production.

Our products are for all age groups apart from babies below 5 years. We have both local and international markets where our major markets are found in China, Germany, France, Japan and USA. Our teas basically are rich with antioxidant known to fight chronic diseases. Our major markets targets are people who are healthy conscious.

Tea grades include OPA, OP, FOP, OP1, FBOPFSP1, FBOPFSP, FBOPF and FOF.

Gatanga Tea Industries Ltd complies with all key regulatory requirements, including the KEBS S-Mark, food hygiene certification; the company is organic certified and is progressing toward ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP certification.
