The liquorice root is the raw material for liquorice extracts which are widely used in the industry. Because of the natural sweetness provided by the presence of glycyrrhizin acid in the root, liquorice root powder HR is suitable to enhance sweetness, for adding extra taste and improve mouthfeel properties in a wide range of applications. Examples of applications are confectionery, marinades, sauces, herbal mixtures and beverages.
