Aloja Starkelsen OPS 20.0FB Organic Fava Bean Starch Flour is made from Dehulled, ground and air classified fava beans. It comprises 20% protein content i.e., higher than wheat flour and has a mild and creamy taste. This Flour has a high quality plant based native protein and starch. It is Gluten-free, GMO-free from EU Origin and traditional European crops.
The protein content is higher than high-protein wheat flour and therefore the flours are perfect for gluten-free baking, extruded snacks, pellets, noodles and pasta. They can also be used as flour improvers in wheat based baking to increase the protein quality of the bread.
With higher dosage it can even act as egg replacement in baking.
