Description
Milk is naturally rich in vitamins A and D but loses these micronutrients due to severe processing techniques such as pasteurization, homogenization and toning. The micronutrient blends (premix) can be directly added in the liquid milk and homogenized thoroughly to ensure proper dispersion. Milk powders can also be mixed with micronutrient blends. Milk along with Value Added Dairy Products (VADPs) such as flavored milk, yogurts, ice-creams, butter, cheese and can be fortified with various micronutrients.
