Description
Once the flowers fall off, the bright red calyces swell and are harvested by hand and dried.
Biosylx’s Hibiscus is primarily a dried calyx, available in several grades:
- Whole dried flower shell (HPS) 5-8mm
- Crushed and sieved dried flower Coarse Cut (Siftings) 3-5mm
- Fine mechanical powder (Tea Cut) 1-2mm
Food Application:
Biosylx’s Hibiscus has a raspberry like flavour and a prominent red pigment/colour.
