DO IT Organic cocoa powder is made from organically cultivated cocoa beans. After harvesting, the cocoa fruits are opened and the beans are taken out. During the fermentation process the fruit pulp is reduced. The fermented cocoa beans are then dried, cleaned and pre-roasted, broken and cleaned. The broken cocoa beans are alkalised by adding carbonates (2.5% potassium carbonate), roasted, and grind into paste called cocoa mass. Cocoa mass is pressed to extract cocoa butter, remained solid components are crushed, grinded and stabilised that results cocoa powder.
This product is Organic, Kosher, NOP certified and free from GMO, additives or not treated by any irradiation.
