Dutch Seaweed Group – Sea Lettuce (Ulva lactuca) is considered a super food. It is rich in dietary fibres, iron, calcium, zinc, iodine, protein and vitamins. Our Ulva is produced in clean controlled land-based conditions resulting in a high quality raw product, vegan & EU organic certified. Ulva has a unique umami flavour (taste enhancing) which emerges particularly in warm foods. Seaweed by nature is liquid-absorbing, so it blends beautifully with many recipes, providing a broad range of flavours. Depending on ingredients and the method of preparation (cold dishes, cooked, fried, roasted or baked) we can supply you with our Ulva in different forms such as freshly frozen leaves or as dried flakes & powder.
